Babusar Pass or Babusar Top is a mountain pass at an elevation of 4,173 meters or 13,691 ft. from sea level. It is the highest point (Pass) in the Kaghan Valley which is easily accessible by cars. This road is one of the world most scenic hair pinned road.

It is not merely a simple top, rather it is one of the most amazing spots of Kaghan Valley. The views from this point are amazing with floating clouds, cool breeze and marvellous landscape. If you are lucky enough to have a good weather, then this it seems like a heavenly piece of earth with beautiful views in every direction many miles.

Standing on the top you might get lucky and get a panoramic view of Malika-e-Parbat on a clear day. There are also astonishing view of snow covered peaks of Kashmir. You can see green plateaus, winding roads; small streams and mountains as far as the sight go. One can have a view of Nanga Parbat (the Killer Mountain) from this point on a clear & sunny day. Due to this, the top is also famous as a telescope on a mountain looking on the Kaghan valley below.

The nearest habitation to the pass is the village of Jalkhad. Jalkhad may serve as a basecamp for visit to Babusar Top, Noori Top, Dudipatsar.

For those who want to see the beauty of the entire valley, the best time to travel is the month of June and early July. This will allow them to see many parts of the valley as well as the pass in its glory. During this time once can see the entire beauty of the valley in amazing 360 degree views.

The area near the top is full of great species of birds, animals, flowers and bushes. The forests near the top are of hardwood trees. Snowcock and snow pigeons are the most likely animals to be seen near the pass and hawk and eagles are seen near as well. Mammals such as small marmots and wild sheep are also seen.

The area of the pass will not have any major species of plants except some grass because of its high altitude, but all of the flora is growing near the pass in valleys and near the roads as well.
